I sent my return back quickly, but the refund took forever to actually show up. I also felt like I was being passed around a bit when trying to get an update, which made the whole thing more frustrating than it needed to be. Not a great experience...

I had to return a dress, and the process was simple. I felt a little pressured to get it sent back quickly so I wouldn’t miss the return window, but once I dropped it off, everything went fine. The refund took a few days to show up, so it wasn’t instant, but it wasn’t a big hassle either

I had a browse for some new clothes, but most of the styles felt old-fashioned to me. The colours and cuts didn’t really appeal, and nothing stood out enough for me to want to take a chance on it. I’m trying to be more careful with what I buy, so if something doesn’t feel right straight away, I’d rather leave it. Just wasn’t for me this time.

I found what I needed really quickly without any hassle. Definitely worth checking out if you want a simple, no-fuss experience.

I ordered my usual size from Matalan, but it came up really small on me. Bit frustrating because I had to send it back. The quality seemed fine enough, so it’s a shame really, I just wish the sizing had been more accurate.

I ordered a few bits of clothing from Matalan and, to be fair, the items themselves were absolutely fine and as expected. The issue was the packaging. The parcel bag had a rip down one side and looked like it had been chucked about a bit. One of the tops was slightly hanging out, so it easily could have ended up dirty or damaged. I get that parcels can have a rough time in delivery, so I’m not putting all the blame on Matalan, but I do think a company their size should use sturdier packaging. It’s made me a bit hesitant to order online from them again.

When the dress first arrived, I was excited to try it on straight away, but then I noticed the zip was broken, which was a bit frustrating. I got in touch with customer service expecting it to be a hassle, but they replied really quickly and arranged a replacement without any drama. It was annoying at the start, but it all got sorted fast, so I can’t really complain.

I’m not sure what’s changed, but customer service used to be a lot better. I emailed twice and still didn’t hear back for days. It’s frustrating, especially when you’re just trying to get a simple response.

I tried to pay twice, but the checkout kept freezing on me. My basket was fine, then the payment page just started messing about. I was feeling a bit pressured to get the order sorted, so after wasting enough time I just gave up and ordered from somewhere else.

The tracking barely changed the whole time, and when I contacted customer service, they basically just told me to wait. I needed the clothes for the weekend, so from my point of view it was completely useless. I definitely wouldn’t order online from them again.

I was a bit unsure at first and just wanted to know it would all go through properly, but my Matalan rewards worked fine. The points showed up quickly, and when I used the vouchers in store there were no issues at all, which was a relief

I ordered a few bits from Matalan and, i was impressed. The quality was better than I thought it would be for the price, which was a nice surprise.

The kids’ clothes have washed really well so far. They haven’t gone all weird or bobbly after a couple of washes, and I also picked up some bedding which feels soft and decent, not thin or cheap-feeling.

So yeah, overall I’m really happy with what I got. I’ll definitely buy from them again, especially for everyday bits and pieces.

I ordered 4 things from Matalan and only 2 of them were actually right. One of the tops came in the wrong size, and the kids’ trousers were a completely different colour to the one I picked, which was frustrating.
I needed everything for the weekend, so now I’ve got to sort out returns for items I didn’t even order. It did feel like the parcel hadn’t really been checked before it was sent out, though to be fair, mistakes happen and I’m hoping it’s just a one-off

I use Matalan quite a bit when there’s a discount code on, mostly for the kids’ clothes and the odd bit for the house. You can usually get a decent saving, and the sale section is worth a look too, although the good sizes disappear really fast, which is annoying because it happens all the time.
The main thing that bugs me is the promo codes. Some work, some don’t, and then you realise they don’t apply to half the stuff in your basket, which is frustrating. It’s still fairly priced and delivery has been fine for me, but the code rules and missing sizes do get a bit repetitive.

They’ve got a really good range and more styles to choose from than a lot of other places I’ve tried. The only downside is that my size isn’t always available, which can be a bit frustrating when I find something I like. Still, I’d say the selection is definitely better than some competitors.

I ordered a few things from Matalan the stuff itself was perfectly fine once it arrived. No real complaints there. But the delivery side just felt a bit frustrating for some reason. I didn’t really have a clear idea of when it was coming, and the tracking barely seemed to change, which was a bit annoying. It wasn’t a massive disaster or anything, but it definitely left me feeling like the updates could’ve been much better.
